The most important questions about the Copenhagen Card. The card is digital - load it into the app using the order code and activate it on arrival in Copenhagen.

What is the difference between Discover and Hop?+

The Discover card includes over 80 attractions plus all public transport including the airport. The Hop card includes around 40 attractions and hop-on/hop-off buses, but no regular public transport.

How do I get the card after purchase?+

After purchase you receive an order code by email. Enter this in the 'Copenhagen Card City Guide' app and only activate the card on arrival in Copenhagen. The card is exclusively digital - there is no physical card.

Is public transport including the airport included?+

Yes, with the Discover variant all public transport in the greater Copenhagen area is included, including the connection to and from the airport. The Hop card only includes sightseeing buses.

When does the card become valid?+

The time runs from activation in the app and is valid on an hourly basis, e.g. 24 hours from the chosen start time. Each attraction can be visited once for free.

Can children travel for free?+

Children aged 3 to 11 need their own Copenhagen Card Kids at the reduced child rate (maximum two per adult card); infants aged 0 to 2 go free. Young people aged 12 to 15 need a junior card.
